Default 3W 106 Ignition Sensor

I recently acquired a 3W 106 TOC engine. I'm in that learning mode again about bigger engines.

Does anyone out here know or can tell me about the ignition sensor placement for this engine?

This is what I know,,, with both marks aligned, prop hub to case, the edge of the sensor covers about 1/2 of the red magnet.

I'll re-phrase this,,, already tried the 3w people in AZ for an answer and his website has no instructions for sensor placement,,, so no joy there.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

thanks, BV

Try calling Gerhard again at Aircraft International. Be very polite and ask the question about timing position. I don't have the exact location for a two magnet hub.

Thanks MetallicaJunkie, I just finished up sending him my questions about the sensor placement for my TOC 106. As I said to the old man, I didn t know about this other shop so hopefully I'll have my questions answered in a couple days or so.

thanks,

BV
