That is a good sounding machine Captain. The issue would be all the flying field Nazi's with their decible meters would be making you wrong. If you took it to Joe Nall they would burn you at the stake. What engine was that anyway

If I had the $$$ to go to the Joe Nall every year....I would not....but instead try to get a engine like that 3 cyl going and have a fun project for life. I would enjoy what I have...and not worry about what the people have that go to the Joe Nall.

The Kolm 200 four stroke is a great sounding engine. They don't have it on their website yet so I am guessing it is still in trial stages.

That thing does indeed sound quite good. Wouldn't mind flying it myself.
Just tell them their constant whining about sweet engines is drowning out the sweet engines. It's what I'd do.


If that doesn't work, stick a muffler in their mouth. Make sure it's never been used, we only aim to embarrass.

That plane, the engine, and the pilot are all pretty impressive! The sound is different than anything I've heard before. I think they all should get a 10...

If it can develop a reputation for staying together, I'll bet we see some more of those engines soon?

At ~3540USD for the IL-130, I'd guess the 3 cylinder should come in at ~5000USD.

Yes that is one neat sound...I love the last 30 seconds the best....just use the slide bar and slide it back from end to about to the 3 min mark....Wow what a cross wind landing...with the the sound of a "beast " engine!!!! Man if I can only get a engine that sounded that good....I would be in Heaven! Capt,n
