dle 30 with tuned pipe on fun fly
A few years ago i copyed the ultra stick lite done right. it was done with the zenoa 26 mac tuned pipe and mezjlik prop. This plane was a lot of fun. After gitting into 3d planes i sold the ultra. I now would like to do a plane like the ultra, And have located a arf that is very much like the 120 ultra stick lite. This time i would like to use the dle 30 with the mac header, and pipe. how can i find the best prop for this combo? trying a lot of props in this size would get costly. With the zenoa and 18 6 mezjlik the plane was a blast. I tried a 18 6 acp after hurting the mezjlik. With the acp the trust was way down so finding the right prop could be hard to do. With the zenoa someone had allready done the work. Can anyone help. Thanks rcerfe.

The DLE 30cc is a great motor, I have mine all stock as the cost of a header and pipe, almost = the cost of a DLE 55 wich dose not weight and take up the much more space than a DLE 30cc.
I have a 30cc in my CMPSpitfire. I have used
20X10 Zinger 6800rpm (way to big)
18X8 Zingeraround 8k
18X14 Zinger 6200rpm (way to big) A DLE 55 with the same prop will do 7500rpm, (Also I just tired a new Zinger 18X(8-14) prop and picked up 500rpm for 8k and 106mph prop speed!!!
18X10 Xzora 7600 rpm The best combo for me, Gives around 71mph prop speed and great torq.
PS a 18in wood prop is the smallest you can go and still have have materal to drill the holes for mounting, There is a single bolt convershon for the DLE 30cc but I belive its around $40.
Grat motor,
Have fun!
