The important one coveing this thread's subject is a full time pasted sticky at the very beginning of the gas engine forum. It never moves, nor does the contents. It only expands as new info is added.

You people can yak all day long about carb tuning, the bottom line is the end result is the same, the pathway to there is different...
2 turns open, start engine...Max the high...Idle to about 1800, try transition..lean the low until t he transition disappears...Richen low until transition returns...Re check high for max, go fly..Fine tune as needed after flying...Takes abvout 5 minutes if you're slow...
