Default exaust for a 3w 70i

whats the best way to go , pitts or header with canister?

depends on application, and funds... side dump is the easiest and cheapest especially for air craft with large cowls, then pitts for narrow cowls slighlty more expensive, and the most expensive would be canister, plus it cuts the noise down or tuned pipe for higher performance while cutting noise down


what plane is it going in?

bates hawker tempest v , at 5 1/2 inches wide , i think the pitts might be too wide

heres a pic of the 75 with a pitts in a p-47... it might work and be a hell of a lot easier than trying to fit a canister in that fuse

great site . i'll have to take some more measurments to see if the width is really going to be a prob .
i see you made a bell crank setup for the choke , i may have to to that , because to pull it closed it has to be pulled toward the cockpit , its horizontaly opened and closed. the alu canopy frame is something id like to try, it looks real
