I have a G38 with a walbro carb on it. The problem i'm having is when it is running gas seems to spray from what looks like a screen held in by a small snap ring. The screen is next to the low & high speed screws. This can't be normal? Has any one seen this & what is the cure?

If you could send me the numbers off the carb I'll send you the information you need. I think I have a fairly complete parts and service manual and should be able to address your problem. Echo

I think the only way fuel could be coming out that hole would be if the welch plug above the hole is leaking..Take the cover off (4 screws) and check the plug above the hole....The WTA6 is the only Walbro that has this screen, called an idle field screen, in the Walbro book...Don't know what it's for.....
