Hi
I am looking forward to buy my first gas engine. How are those RCS engines? I like them because they have small disp. but I am not so sure about its quality. Are not them made by Moki ?
I am considering to buy the 140 rcs to replace a glow engine I have which is costing to much to run... I am not familiar with anything about gas engines and would like wise advice.

Hi dirtybird!
Yes, you are right. I am sure they don´t have small displacements, but I am going to check anyway. I think the smaller is over 40 cc and I am looking for 23-30 cc. I hope they run well, although they are smaller.

I just call to 3W in Germany and ask for the 3w 42i . They offer it for €415 and for the 3W 60i €425. I think there are very good prices. They said it is because they dont have dealers in Denmark and they give nice px if you call directly. May be I have to think on a bigger project. Like a Skybolt from Hostetler.

I HAVE THREE RCS 1.40 THEY ARE GREAT. VERY GOOD QUALITY.
VERY GOOD POWER/WEIGHT RATIO
I HAVE ONE IN A HANGER 9 TAYLORCRAFT, ANOTHER IN A 1.08 SIZE PROFILE AND ONE IN A DYNAFLYTE PT-19 I LOVE THEM.
THERE HAS BEEN MUCH DISCUSSION ON RC UNIVERSE SEARCH AND YOU'LL FIND THE LINK PJAMESRC

From: DK,
Thanks, I couldn´t find much information about it (RCS). It is not so clear to me which engine I am going to buy. There are a lot in the market and I have no idea how to operate them, I think it is best to know which ones I shouldn´t buy. What else will I need, apart from the muffler, as onboard package?. I think the only way is to buy one and have fun with all the mess.

Redrata :
The RCS 140 (moki) is a very good running engine.
Regardless of which one you buy, they will all need to be run pretty much the same way.
When you decide to get one, and need help, just post your question. You will get all the help you need.
They will come with the ignition module. You will have to supply a switch and ignition battery (seperate from your receiver battery.).
