Default DA170 WITH RE3 PIPES

Hi all:
Does anybody know/had experimented with the right distance between the headers and the pipes ?
I have a DA170, with 14-inch headers (as recommended by DA), but I have no indication of the distance between the header and pipe.
Thanks

Juan

As close as possible without touching.
I have mine about 1/8" apart.
