Hey Bill,

What ever happened to the last batch of CDI's you were making? Will I have to wait forever for my two? If yes, fine, I'll make do with the Chinese stuff...but sure would love to have two or three of yours. Thanks

can I join the club capt. 3 dodgy discs in the back and 1 in the neck as well as the usual stuff that goes with it , If it wasnt for pain pills I couldnt get out of bed . Went to the pain clinic yesterday and had double blind infusion and was in the worst pain Ive ever had . Im not too proud to say I cried like a baby and had to lie on the back seat of the car for hour long trip home . Seems like every second person has a bad back . Just cheer up as theres always someone worse off then yourself and it makes me feel better when i come across them . If youve never had a bad back thank your lucky stars . Good luck from the pope

DYou know after reading all the replies...I decided to get going the best I can. Again I am sorry these things happen and that it causes some grumpy-ness.

So I want to post a way I think may work good for another way of mounting the Mintor 22cc gas engine. By using a off the shelf item...by Dubro. I did make some spacers that could go between Carb and fire-wall. Some one asked about making this engine configured for stand-offs like many engine are. This may work too with some rubber inserts to absorb vibration. May test run the engine soon and find out. Capt,n

Apalsson,

Beautiful engines and the starter feature is really neat. But how heavy?

Hi Matt,

My estimate is the starter adds approximately 250 grams to the weight of the engine.
I need to weigh one to give you the exact weight though

Not too worry about it....not much happening as far as Mintor engines right now anyway. Just like the dew on the grass, some of this stuff fades away......

Bill, I bought the engine from Top Dawg Aviation LLC Rolla Mo 11820 CR 3080
The prop hub is not on engine...but has a Key-way to line it up for timing.
I cannot answer about who checked the engine...I guess they do now.
You are right...they sent me a new hub that fits perfect. I will check timing to be sure.

I do think it is a good idea to check timing on any engine...then you know. It has the standard slotted pickp that can be used to set timing. Will post here when I get it running...I have a multitude of things too do...and my sore/painfulllower back slow me down a lot. Take care Bill, I know you too have plenty of pain to endure. Capt,n

Sure would like to get out west this summer, and my wife wants too make at least one more trip that way. If gas prices go lower and our health gets better...it may happen. That is some BIG IF,s ....for sure ! About the time of the Fly-in.

http://pure-gas.org/Is a website showing where too buy the gas I use. I mix it 40-1 with Redline Racing oil for my Mintor 22cc. I may go to 50-1 after a lot of running. Capt,n.

Capt,n I have not run my engine yet, but have noticed that with the engine as is right out of the box and dry it has practically no compression. I am assuming that when it gets all wet with fuel all that will change, and was this so with your engine prior to it's first run ?
