I have the 33 and 22.<div>The 33 is only into 4 flights at the moment but turns a XOAR 19x8 at 7200rpm confirmed by the Rcexl Tach ( I got 7600-7700 on a H9 Opto tach...)</div><div>Its mounted in a GW Racer Edge 540 30cc and flies it beautifully. At WOT the vertical is unlimited. I've not got the point of hovering it yet but will get there perhaps after around 20 flights or so. Very happy with throttle response and power. Seems to have more than the DLE30.</div><div>
</div><div>The M22 also only has aroun 4 flights on it at the moment and I'm really impressed with it. Better throttle response than the DLE20 and a whisker more power. Turns the same XOAR 16x8 at 8600-8700 rpm (not yet broken in) whereas the DLE20 spins it at 8300- 8400 (broke in).</div><div>
</div><div>I'll lilkely skip the 38 and head off to the new 60 next for a 50cc I'll build later in the year.</div>

I got one and had to put it back in the box. The prop hub that holds the magnet...ect will not go onto the 10mm part of the crank. Seems like the hole in hub is 8mm. What makes me real concerned is in the meantime the warrenty or any guarantee just ticks away and soon will be gone. It may go back to seller.
Please post the engine serial numbers guys....like to keep up on that data too. Again if you own one...post the serial number. Thanks Capt,n

This post was edited by me. I was in a bad mood (in lots of pain) and the post I made did not come out too good. In reality things worked out good. Better than most other deals with various engine venders. So do not overlook a possibly very good engine. Capt,n

Capt,n,
One authorised USA based Mintor dealer made a posting recently on that other site, advising that some 22cc engines were shipped with the incorrect hub and requested anyone that purchased an engine from them having this problem should contact them right away to have this problem immediately rectified.

They should just send a new prop drive, that's all it needs.

Where did you buy this engine?
Why was the prop hub not on the engine when you received it?
How could they check the timing with out haveing the prop hub all the way on?
Who inspected this engine before shipping?
I am sure they will take care of this for you.

It appears the standard packagin for the 22 is to not have the prop hub fitted. MIne was not in place either. The key was in a plastic bag with the hub/ the hallsensor in another packet. Only minor assembly work required, set the timing (seems to be fine) and start it up.

My 22 came the same way but the prop driver went on with a little reluctance. Very tight fit for the key. Put a prop on and tightened her down.
sn 12d69 22cc, This is going in a Balsa USA Phaeton 90 after I build it..
sn 12A62 38cc. This is on a Bridi Old Timer to replace the Syssa 30 which is now on a Giant SuperSportster.

The only one I've played with is the 38cc. Beautiful machning and a very physically strong engine, stronger than cast engines. Lighter too. The 38 has terrific field manners, easy starting with very good throttle response....... I should state that it has good sport power but for my needs (pattern competition) the power is only average

Can any one tell me if the 22cc connecting rod has bearings or just brass bushings?

Sorry if I seem a little bent...my pain in my lower back and left leg is getting bad. My left side and back/hip area will hurt very bad, and it causes me to hit the ground, just doing lite work in the yard. I got so much too do and this happens. Seen the doc finally ...got some more therapy to do to relive this condition. But I am kinda like BCCHI (Bill C.) he just keeps going all-thow I know he is in much more pain than I am in. Us Old foggieslike usjust keep trucking somehow! Capt,n

Forgot to say I got new hub for the Mintor 22...it goes on nice. For now though...I will not be able to do much with it.

Cap'n I can relate to your pain , As a result of a work related injury nearly 2 years ago I have had hip surgery, knee surgery, and this Friday I will have a 3 level fusion on my lower back.
Keep your chin up and keep doin' what you you can.
BTW : I just received my mintor 22 for Storch project, but it will now have to wait for about 6 month of more.

OMG, just listening to you old fogies makes me feel like I'm looking in a mirror, as back pains are my daily companion as I've got a degenerated lower spine, coupled with arthritis and scoliosis, but still we can't give in to it.
