Default what engine is this?

I aquired this from a friend. Don't know much about it. Looks like at least 75cc but dont know what brand etc.. Has Ralphs ign. on it I believe. Also does anybody know if the center pin on this speaker jack type of plug for the Ign.battery is pos. or neg? Any info is helpful, thanks, Dave.

Look at the carb numbers on carb.....that may be a big clue. That is also a lot bigger carb that a 23cc engine would have...normally!

Ralph converted a lot of none Zenoah engines.

I've a friend with a Ralph converted Sachs 3.2 using the original Makita concrete saw crank case

The engine in the picture has a Zenoah G62 coil. I think there were some versions of the G23 used that coil.

carb says 21-85 Walbro... Doing a c.i.d. formula of the internet, bore x bore x stroke x .7854 it comes to approx 5.0 cid. Hard to measure real good but I used conservative measurements. Dont have a clue as to brand though. Don't know how to get a muffler for it? Dont know what it is. Approx 40mm across the muffler bolt hole center to center..

I think Ralph used that coil on some of his non-Zenoah conversions. Its pretty easy to say what that engine isn't but not so easy to say what it is! Cylinder looks a bit like a Sachs of some kind but I'm clueless from there.

Does look chainsaw related.

The Sachs 5.8 is 40.25mm across the muffler screws

The DLE 55 is 40 mm across the muffler screws

I found out that this is a Sachs engine 75cc, with the center pin of the battery jack being positive. Thats what I needed to know. Thanks for your help guys.
