I am looking to purchase a new 50cc gas plane and am looking for some ideas on where to get it from. This will be my first 50cc plane but I have been flying for many years. I currentley fly a hangar 9 p-51 mustang and a Habu 32 jet. I would like to move into larger planes now. I have found a few 50cc planes from Peak Models and I can get a plane with the DLE 55 for a decent price. Has anyone used this site before and if so how were the planes? I have heard mixed reviews on them but was curious what some of you thought? Also are these engines from this site true DLE engines or a chinese remake? They look to be the real think but I want to verify.
thanks for your help

Those DLE's look like mine, at least the 20,30,and 55 anyhow. Can't speak for the site or the quality of their plane's.
If your open to suggestion's, give a Great Planes Ultimate some thought. It was my first large cc plane and I really enjoy it. Mine has the DLE 55. Really a superb combo.

I got caught up in this China thing....
I purchased a sukhoi from ebay, of corse after I purchased it I read the sellers reviews,,,,,,,
many had said it was Cheap China Junk, with parts missing and the seller wouldn't work with them.
He had a high rating, but he sold many things.
when it arrived I was disapointed. there was much to do, I took me about 2 to 3 weeks just getting it ready to build.
Bracing, reglueing, reinforcing and such.
Most of the hardware was not with it, and what was, I wouldn't use it....
I think I spent my savings in purchasing hardware....
I'm NOt going to purchase another one unless it's hanger 9, Great plane, and such.
Take my advive, dont mess with China Junk.
Best of Luck

I think I may go with a 30cc extra 330 from Pilot-Rc. I know I said 50cc beofre but I dont have a way to haul a 50cc plane around. 30cc will move much better for me.
