where can I find gaskets for a Zachs 4.2 engine? thanks, Steve

This is the cylinder base gasket.

The original engine was a Dolmar PS-120Si. The Cylinder and piston assembly and carb are used.

You can use Yamabond for a liquid gasket on the case seams.

May have to make some of the other gaskets. I things like magazine covers, card board, or gasket material from the auto parts.

w8ye. while we are on the subject, I have seen those gaskets made out a paper material and a more thicker, rubbery material with a black and white mottled color. What is that thicker stuff and does it make a difference? Dan.

There are different types

Back 60 years ago they often were some asbestos - tar combination

Currently the green stuff usually has Kevlar in it

There are many other combinations.

I wonder what the odds are that the Fox 4.2 engine is a close enough copy of the Sachs 4.2 engine that the parts may interchange.
