Default 100 cc Sachs-Dolmar needs ignition module

I have a 100 cc Sachs-Dolmar engine with a smashed ignition module. The ignition timing is advanced via a tie rod to the carburator. A Hall's eye detects a magnet which is embedded in the thrust washer. I understand that more modern ignition modules work on electronic advancement. What ignition module should I use and where do I get one? Roger

Dan, thank you so much for the response. I placed a call to CH. They are temporarily closed because Bill has become ill. I will work on the Adrian Ciulei contact. This was my first use of any forum. I was so unsure of how it works. Pretty neat. Roger

My health has become better, but I am building very few ignitions and will not get back into the business.Contact Adrian Ciulei,he can build you a ignition with no internal timing control.Try ch ignitions not C&H Ignitions.

Roger, thanks for the thanks. Bill has retired and turned the business over to Adrian. I have been using CH ignitions since 1995 and they are the only ones worth the expenditure of any money. You'll find that RCU is a great source of good information from across the USA and even further. I have benefited a lot from all the posters. Dan.

Does one have a rubber spark plug boot and one have a metal boot? The rubber boot had an external grounding wire, the metal boots usually are grounded through the boot.

You were 100% correct on that
