All the sensors are the same, You just have to make sure you use the right sensor bracket.

There are long and short brackets like in the first picture.

The best is to use the universal if you do not know which one will work for you, They will work with most any engine using RCexl ignitions and some that do not use RCexl ignitions. It is the second picture.

If you let the spark plug cap come loose, the spark will happen in the sensor and quickly ruin it.

Yes it is possible, I have seen a few that would fire the ignition as the magnet went under the sensor and again as it past the sensor.

Have also seen one that when the magnet went under the sensor the ignition fired contentiously.

Tell us what problem you are having and maybe we can answer you better.

hi
how thespark plug cap come loose?
will it not cause the engine to cut itself? or show other signs?
do we need the spring inside the cup for our DLE engines?

From some months, the ignition manufacturer include a short wire sensor for single ignitions and a long wire sensor for twin ignitions.
Last produced DLE engines also include the new ignition model A02 , 4 cell NiMh AND LiFe and LiPo ready.

Best regards
