Saito FG-17 vs Flexible Exhaust Tube
Hi, this is my first post here at this thread and I'd like to ask for a small help on my build.
I'm setting up a TF P51D with a Saito FG-17 and because there is no much space in the cowl I'm planning to instead of using the stock muffler (on the outside) maybe i could setup an internal right angle adapter (SAI65140) and a flexible exhaust pipe (SAI65111 12mm) that could stay inside the cowl.
However I've noticed that the right angle adapter and this flexible tube don't really match well (wasn't planning to use the angle adapter that seems to be part of the pipe) because a nut is needed for these to fit together. Meanwhile I've seen another flexible pipe (SAI65142) though it says 10mm, and on a few searches I've done I've seen the FG17 is listed as compatible.
Did someone made such configuration and/or is capable to Help out on my doubt ?
Thanks Much
