The 50 would be too much weight and power for the 260. That plane is built quite light and just would not take the extra punishment (vibration) the larger engine would put out. It is very well powered with a 35. Also consider prop clearance with the larger 50. I'd save my pennies and get another 35.

On the one that I had the complete tail assembly both vertical and horizontal stab separated from the model all in one piece, taking a good part of the fuselage with it. Everybody that seen it happen and viewed it afterwards all stated that it was total " factory / design / assembly " structural failure.

Thanks guys for the input.
l understand and l'm kinda thinking the same way, BUT! l have been known for over powering things.
I have a RCShowcase 180/30cc gas that no one seems to know anything about?
Can not make it run?
Has Fire, Gas, BUT! Will not even bark? The timing (Hall Sensor) is in the rear of the case, could not adjust the timing if l needed too. They made two versions of this engine. One with the carb, in the front and one with the card in the rear and that is the one l have. Two bad i'm not a fishermen, it would make a good trotline wight!!
Guess l'll set on it a bet. HAY!! I GOT A SUPER TIGER 4500!!
NO!! That would not work! 6+Lbs + Two Flights Per Gal. Burns 40+Oz glow fuel in (8) mins!

I have a ST4500 in a Great Planes 1/3 Pitts Special with a 18oz tank. I have my timer set for 8 minutes and then land. I've never ran out of fuel.
