Probably should have mentioned that I reset the carb settings before I retested the engine. However, I will do so again to ensure the adjustments are where they are supposed to be.

If a new ignition box is required, look at the one from Valley View RC. It's a few bucks cheaper and a better unit IMHO>

The DLE ignition is an Rcexl ignition. Valley View sells Rcexl ignitions. What is the difference?

Other than Rcexl, the other two common ignitions are CH (which also sells Rcexl) and RCAME sold mostly by RC Extreme Power under his RCXP branding. I've used them all with very good results. In some cases, I especially like the RCAME / RCXP ignition as it appears to have a bit hotter spark and a few other interesting features.

OK, so it's a few bucks cheaper than Tower and they are grateful for your business.

(comments above are to the best of my current knowledge at the time of posting and are meant to help and will not be carved in granite)

Truckracer's question is legitimate. Don't assume for any reason that this carb is not going to need adjusting. Factory settings assure only that it's going to start. They do NOT provide any assurance it's going to run right after starting. That part is on you!
It seems you may not know what he means in this post. He means you must tune the engine. If you do not know how, help is available.
