Hello All,

I'm new to the forum. I have a question about vendor RCFG USA. I put in an order for a STINGER 10cc SE on 09/28/25 and other than an order confirmation email I haven't heard anything back. I sent emails and left a voice mail a week after ordering and got no response. Has anyone else had experience with this vendor? Should I be concerned at this point?

I have used them numerous times with no issues.

Thanks Andy. Have you ever had an issue with an order sitting in processing status for more than a week or been unable to get a response back from them?

My orders are for magazine review product so it works differently than a consumer order so I can't answer that.

I ordered a plane.
Found communication a bit delayed and dicey. They blamed it on being a rather busy and very small operation.
It came out okay in the end but there were a few tense moments.

Yea, other than a few of the bigger shops like Extreme Flight, I don't think most of these guys are doing this full time, they wouldn't be able to eat.

The hobby got its start with a lot of Mom and Pop operations. They grew and were gobbled up by the big guys. Now we are seeing the big boys fade away and Mom - Pop operations are back.

Thanks for your input. I was able to talk to Joe at Legend Hobby and he said he was not affiliated with RCFG USA and had heard of problems with them. I disputed the charge about two weeks after placing the order since I'd had no communication with the seller. Of course the engine showed up a couple of days later so I canceled the dispute. I had already ordered another from a different hobby shop so now I have two. One side and the other rear exhaust.
