I'm building a GP 330L Extra. It should come in around 23 or 24 pounds. I bought a never been run BME 102 EVO. What do you think the best prop for this setup would be? Thanks!

Hi,
I've never tried a mezjlik 26x10 but I can vouch for the Menz 26x10. I've tried alot of props and always come back to the menz. I really like how quick the spool up is on the menz for 3-d work - I assume the mezjlik would be the same. If I were you I'd try both. I get about 6400-6500 rpm on the MEnz 26-10s. Hope this helps,
jon

Hey Jon-- I had the same experience with my 102- Mens S 26-10 was the prop I liked the best. Lighter than the Mej so it accelerated more quickly.
Also glad to see I'm not the only one not at the Nall.....

It seems you guys like the Menz because of your 3D work. What about for IMAC? I am running a MSC 26x10 and standard diverters. While my plane is not as quiet as Tim's cans, it is really quiet in the air. Yesterday, a guy with a 4 stroke glow was flying and I could not hear my engine. Made me a bit nervous!

I actually like the menz for both Imac and 3-d- but in general I've seen people using bigger props for imac. I find it seems my plane recovers from snaps easier with a small prop like the menz, but that may be just because I'm used to it. A bigger prop supposedly will give you more downline braking. In theory that sounds correct, however I haven't noticed a change in switching to bigger props. Mabye a 3-blade would accoplish that, I've just messed around with 2 blades. But the bottom line is if you're happy with how it's flying then don't change a thing. Someone else might have the same plane as I do with the same set-up and absolutely hate the menz 26x10 on it. For what it's worth
