I had one, ran it forever. Great engine. Use a 22X10 Menz-S if you can find one, or a Zinger Pro. Cant remember what the carb settings are, maybe 1 turn on the high, 1-1/2 on the low. Try that.

If you're talking about the 3W-60K with the side mounted carb, the factory settings are :
High Speed Needle 3/4 turn open
Low Speed Needle 1 1/2 turn open
The instructions also recommend a 50:1 oil ratio. What they recommended using was Bel-Ray MC-1 synthetic oil.
I followed those instructions and now have a great running engine on a Lanier Cap.
I'm using a Menz 22x12 S prop. When I first started breaking it in I used the 22x10 S Menz.
These engines lile the wider props.
