Ignition battery voltage ??

Hi all, Today I ran my Brison 3.2 several times (15 minutes total). At the beggining of the running session my 1400 mah nicad pack read 5.44 volts (4.8 volt pack). After putting the plane away I measured 5.02 volts. Is this about right or do I need to cycle my battery pack. It is new and before I slow charged it, I drained it with a battery bug. thanks in advance

Some battery packs designed years back, are not all that great for anything.
Use a newer design pack - designed for higher current and faster charging.
I won't go into names etc..
Go to a supplier such as CheapBattery Packs.com and read up on the types of batteries available.
Once you have done a complete charge cycle for the ignition pack, cycling it up and down is a waste of your time and money .

Low impedence type ignition battery packs can do wonders. I get all of mine at NoBS batteries, he sells ignition packs. www.hangtimes.com
