Have a DA 100 with about 80 flights on it running 80:1 Amsoil.
Was flying this morning first flight engine ran flawless like always, second flight engine fell flat on it's face. Roll to knife edge engine almost quit running was at full throttle, roll inverted engine starts to sag went into a hover and engine quit all together runs great on straight level flight.
Checked spark plugs they were okay and check compression on cylinder heads good and strong wants to blow finger off of cylinder.

What do I need to check for?

There are no DA Gurus. DA's are perfect so DA Gurus aren't necessary. Haven't you been around here long enough to know that yet? LOL

Check your clunk/fuel input lines. Bet your clunk is stuck at a front corner.

Hey Wilson been around long enough but there is always one out there that knows something.
Checked fuel lines when unfueling the plane everything was fine no kinks and the fuel tank emptied all the way plane sits nose high so all fuel ran to back of tank.

Thanks for your input,
Rich

It sounds like you have a fuel delivery problem to me, More than likley a torn diaphram on the pump side of the carb , or some trash. Pretty easy to check it out if you are mechanicly inclined other wise just send it back to DA and let them fix it.

Take the tank apart and have a good look at the lines inside the tank and clunk. If an engine runs fine straight and level, and it quits in some other attitude, then it's most likely drawing air into the fuel. Check tank first, then check out the carb diaphragm and gasket between the carb and manifold.
