Does anyone know what size and make engine is in the Weed Eater XR-50 (not -50A) trimmer? I've found exploded views but no other info, thanks.

I just got into gassers and ran across your thread. I was an outdoor power equipment mechanic and certified in 2 cycle engines. Most of the weedeater and craftsman 2 cycle engines are made by poulan. Hope that helps.
