Default another g-62 question

i have a g-62 that came in a trade with other things. do you think its worth spending the money to convert it to electronic ignition. or should i just get something else.

Run it as it is. G-62s are great runnnig, very user friendly engines.

Depends on what you want to do with the motor, ie: type of plane you want to use it in. If you are looking for gonzo power to weight, this may not be your best choice. If you want to power a large Warbird in the 80-90" range, it is a good choice, in many cases. Electronic ignition will save some weight, and make the engine idle better and eisier to start. The magneto on a G-62 is a good system as well. They are good reliable engines have thier place, so you just have decide if it will serve you or not.
