Default 3W Canisters

Just wondering if people would think it's worth putting canisters on a 3W 28, as our field has strict noise concerns?

I'm wondering would the additional power be worth the additional weight.

The 28 picks up some pretty nice rpm's by adding a can, and is the optimal exhaust for the motor.

I have the 3w 28 on there can, it is very quiet. In fact the carb makes more noise than the exhaust. Not to sure what it does to the power output, but it will turn a 18x8 3w prop at 8100+. Next I will try an 18x10.

3W cans rock, it will not necssarily make a ton more power, but it will help the midrange and of course quiet things down nicely.
