Those look like 1.4ci jugs so the engine will be a 2.8ci twin.
Don't really know of anyone who makes one that size.

Looks like yet another adaptation of commercial jugs - the carb is a small one --so it is a small engine - nicely done .

No way, the exhaust port is too big and there's no intake port on the side of the cylinder...

Maybe the single is a knock off using the piston/rod

That sure does look like half of a BME 110! I am definately not an engine expert but the cooling fins and exhaust port made me immediately think of a 110 [:-]...Jonas

Regarding the single. Check out page 2 in the forum, Product Announcements and Manufacturer News. It is a 40cc engine from Melody RC Models. I contacted Tommy about this engine in April and was interested in the motor. He seemed like a nice guy and was even going to give me a real good deal on one. Not knowing anything about the engine I was afraid to take a chance with it on my new airplane. It still looks interesting though. Maybe he'll send me one to test out.
