Default 3W 140 Prop Choices

Hi, I just got my new plane and it has a 3w 140 in it. I will get to fly it in a few weeks. It currently has a 30x10 prop on it. Can I also use a 32x10 on it, 3W wood prop, or would it be to sluggish

32-10NX if noise is not an issue, works pretty good

Most 150s will barely lug a 3w 32x10, something strange about that prop. A menz, nx, bolly wood, will work.

I ran a 30X12 Menz-S on my 140 after I got about 10 gallons through it, wasn't too bad.

We have a 40% Lanier Edge 540 in our club I flew Saturday. 3W-140 with a NX32-10. Plane weighs 41-1/4lbs. I built the plane. Engine will rip the prop on level flight. Verticle performance is execellent. If it were to run out vertically it would be way up there. I didn't do any 3D, hovering or torqin just flew the plane. My DA-150 will not pull a 3W 32-10 as flyinrazrback mentioned. Its a very heavy load prop. There's not any big noticible difference in power between the DA 150 and the 3W140, bout the same. I would go with either the NX or Menz in a 32-10...
