Default ZDZ 80 questions

I bought a new ZDZ 80 off of the classifieds here on RCUniverse.com. I got the engine today, but it didn't come with instructions. I know what props to use and oil etc. I just have questions about the center prop hub and throttle/choke linkages. I don't know what to do with the nut that's behind the washer. Do I use it that way with a nut behind and in front of or what? Also, granted this may be an older engine, but what do I do to hook up the throttle and choke. The ZDZ 50NG that I used to have had ball links on the throttle and choke. So do I get some small ball links and bolt them on?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Ben,the prop washer goes on first then the two nuts.Whomever owned it previously put them that way just to keep the prop washer from moving around.Yes you can get some ball links and bolt them to the throttle and choke arms.

Cool, just get some 2-56 links? The only one I'm having trouble with really is the throttle. It has a piece of metal bent down for the full throttle stop and it's a tight fit. So how would I put the linkage on?

Hi,
Just hold the nut for the ball link in place with a pair of longnose pliers. Then screw the ballink into place. Uase a small wrench or pliers to tighten it. Locktite or solder the nuts.

That's a good idea. I may just cut off most of the shank and solder what's left on.
