Default Byron 4.2 prop adapter.

I picked up a Byron P-47 with Byron Purr power and I had heard the Byron props flex a lot and a few throw props. The prop I have flexes lots and I was thinking about running wood prop instead. Problem is on the prop hub is the pick up magnet for the ignition sensor.

Is there some sort of adapter that can be used or are there other ways of using different props on this engine?

I had the exact same plane and had to convert to a wooden prop due to the fact the byron 4 blade hub had 1 blade running out of tract with the other 3. I removed the 4 blade hub and bought the regular prop hub from BRISON to fit the A&M sach's 4.2. It's a factory replacement and bolts right on place. It cost me about 25 bucks and works fantasticly!

good luck with the P-47 you'll love the way it flies!
