WOW, no wonder it is a bit heavier, it is much bigger!

I like the new carb position also.

If you have yet to run one -You will easily see power difference.-A setup you should like for the market there -is the big JMB can and the new ZM26x12 prop -which was -Iam told -shaped for that engine-

ZDZ did not have to develop new 80s and 100s because they were so weak. ZDZ had to react to numerous engine faults in the german aerobatic F3A-X szene (similar to the US IMAC). There were cracks in the cylinder head bases and some Nikasil platings were rubbed of by the pistons. One 100NG started as a twin cylinder engine an landed as a 50NG single. The other cylinder was lying inside the cowl. The german ZDZ respresentative Amelung, know for his outstanding service, had a lot to do.
So ZDZ had to react quickly to preserve its good reputation which was build up during the las few years. Hopefully the new engine will work. And I hope MY 100NG will not collapse.

Every mfgr has had some failures - 3W also had case failures-I have seen these personally -these problems were isolated and were warranteed immediately

The new engine design, is a performance upgrade .

Hi,
It looks to me like the Super 80 is based on a 100cc frame. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

How much does the new engine weight?

Has anyone ran it yet? If so, what prop are you running, and how hard does it turn it?
