Ignition sensor for F.P.E mounting advice
It appears that my ignition sensor to my new F.P.E 2.4 is bad and I need to replace it. I have one arriving on wed/Thurs and I need advice on how to install it CORRECTLY. I have already removed the old one from shaft and cleaned up the Aluminum mount. when I glue the sensor in, what type of adhesive is best, etc.
Thanks!!!!!!
Thanks!!!!!!

I have used 5 minute epoxy for 18 years now, it works well..Make sure the sensor is no more than 1/32 of an inch from the magnet...Most ignitions are set up so that the South pole of the magnet triggers the side of the sensor with the numbers on it...[8D]

Why not simply call Kurt Roth and tell him about it. He will send you another one and tell you how to make it work and attach it.
