I want to change the plug in my 80. and the one i have here to put in it is a NGK BPMR6F and the one in the motor is # BMR 6F.

does any body know what the difference is. also what is the correct gap for the plug.

BPMR6F - the P means projected tip. The center tip of the plug sticks out a little farther and burns off deposits better (more heat), and should light the mixture better because it's a little deeper into the combustion chamber. Either plug will work, but the Projected tip is the better one.

I set the gap to .020" for Falkon ignitions.

Do you have to use the afore mentioned plugs in the engine or does Champion make one that will work to?
