Just curious where the best place is to order a DA-50?

WildHare, Chief, or DA. There might be one more but it does not matter as long as they are all up to date with the mod's DA did since May. I called DA and asked this same question. They said that the engines don't sit on the shelf very long so they are all current right now. Does not matter who you order it from. I will say one thing: Chief sells the Slimline for about $10 less than DA. Also Chief might have free shipping, not sure.

PS: whatever you do make sure to get the correct standoff's. They have 3 inch max but only give you them if you ask. SWB sells some totally cool stand off spacers for only $20 that can extend those 3 inch a little more (1/16, 1/8, and 1/2 inch spacers, 4 of each).

Just bought mine last week from Gene at Troy Built Models. Great guy, great service, the engine isin stock and has all of the latest updates.
