Default Suggested Tank Size for Quadra 75?

Any suggestions on a tank size for a Quadra 75 in a giant warbird application for 15 minutes of flight time, with perhaps 2-3 minutes of reserve?

Thanks,

-Ed

Default RE: Suggested Tank Size for Quadra 75?

20--24oz.

I fly a G-62 in an 80" Extra. Primarily, I fly it IMAC style. Slow and smooth. So, throttle settings are usually low--around 1/4 or 1/3 throttle with occasional bursts of near full throttle for vertical lines. Rarely use full throttle--unless I'm just dinkin' around or and pulling out of a hover.

Stock tank WAS 27oz. I could fly it 2 times for 15 minutes each and still have about 3--4 oz left.

I switched to an 18oz tank and EASILY can fly it for 20 minutes with reserve for a fly-by.

You mileage may vary with a warbird. Lots of guys fly them around at almost full throttle. You may need the 24oz tank.
