Default Holy Cow! When did DA release the 75CC?!!!

I had to actually look twice when I was in my LHS. A DA 75CC?!!! When did they start shipping? I forgot to ask the proprietor when he got it in.

Hi,
They don't show a 75cc on their website. Maybe it was a Chinese copy using a DA150 clone cylinder.

I looked there too. It could be a copy and like I said...I had to look twice to make sure that it wasn't a 50CC. But 75CC was stamped right in front of the cylinder head. Everything about it looked like a DA right down to the red anodized hex bolts. Most striking about it was that it was a side carb instead of rear mounted.

My curiousity is killing me. I'll call the shop today and find out!

Hi SydDythers,
Was the carb mounted on the crankcase or cylinder? If it is on the case it would be a reed valve and could have a full crank with a rear bearing. If it is on the cylinder, it would be a piston port which would be a departure from recent DA designs. Let us know.

Dave

I swear to god I saw it! Gonna go by and look again this weekend. The carb was mounted on the right side of the crankcase and not the cylinder. I must have saw wrong but this thing sure as hell looked like a DA75! I'm the last one to be a troll on a forum. I just posted the original topic cause I swear I saw one and wanted to see if they had in fact been released.

My aging eyes could very well have deceived me.

I know for a fact that DA does have one 75cc'er flying. You can bet there's a few more. I can also appreciate DA's non-release of there product till its correct. Hopefully its release will be a better kickoff than the first 50's were. Problem is that when it does become available its probably already obsolete. 2 other manufactures have brand new 80cc power houses available. Both have some fantastic numbers being stated. I hope Da hasn't missed the boat on this one.

IMO, DA has missed the boat just about when there were no TOC's anymore. The only thing that keeps them alive is their spectacular and usefull service.

Hum, interesting. I was wondering when they would drop a cylinder off the 150 and give us another motor.

Well look at this, if you go to the KS websight they make a header for the DA 75?. This a typo or is there something we are missing. Click on Engines and scroll down to DA. [X(] http://www.krumscheid-metallwaren.de...op.php?lang=EN

They're anticipating...A 75 header is just half of a 150 set [8D]

They have been anticipating a 200 as well, since the last TOC FYI 3 years ago.

Krumscheid lists headers/flanges/pipes etc., per cylinder -NOT for a given engine total size. so 75 is simply their way of identifying the DA150 . The ZDZ160 is looked at as an 80 as another example .
Be ready for the TOTAL price of dopple 75------Mein Gott!
