Amsoil 80:1/leaf blower??
Hi, I have a couple of gallons of fuel mixed at 80:1 with Amsoil 100:1 premix. This fuel is a little old to use in my airplanes but was wondering if it could be used in my Shindaiwa leaf blower that recommends a 40:1 mix (with their oil). The warranty has expired on the blower so that is not an issue. Thanks in advance

RE: Amsoil 80:1/leaf blower??
I use the same fuel in my power equipment as I do in my models. Amsoil at 100:1. I even use it in my 4stroke lawnmower. Have been for the last 6-8 years, and the mower starts first pull every time. Very little smoke and no plug fouling. This keeps my fuel from ever getting old.

Great, I'll use it. In an effort to keep my fuel reasonably fresh, I have a spare 2 gallon can that I pour my older mix into. The can is full now and the leaves are gettin' ready to blanket the universe![sm=frown.gif]
