Default Taurus 4.2 Throttle position

I received my new Taurus 4.2 today and it is a fine looking engine. I am looking for ideas on how to connect the throttle cable. Throttle connection is almost 90 degrees to the cylinder head. I don't see any way to mount a bellcrank so I can move the throttle butterfly in the right direction. There is no way to mount some type of standoff for the bellcrank. On the G62 you can drill a hole in the mount for a standoff. Works quite well. I have standoffs on my 2 G23's, G62, and Taurus 2.6.

Thanks for any ideas you can give me.

On mine I ran a beam off of the firewall down the side of the engine(1/2 spruce, I think)--I then mounted the 90 degree bellcrank on the beam--then ran a rod to the carb.
