Default is 16oz tank too small for G26??

I think I bought one size too small, did I??

Then again with the G26 and gasser which tend to be very miser on fuel, will it last 10 mins flight even on aggresive power flight?

Most of the local guy tell me that their 50cc is running at least 10mins for less than 12oz.

Do I need to visit the LHS for a 24oz?

I used to get 2-12 minute flights with my G-23 that had a 16oz tank on a Big Stick, and still had 1/3 of a tank left after the second flight. You'll be fine.........

I have a 16 oz. tank in my Fokker for the G-23. Runs over 20 minutes at 3/4 - full throttle.

I have a 16 oz tank for a Brison 3.2. Plenty of fuel left after 15 minutes of flying.

I have a 12oz tank in my G-26 powered US lite and I hammer on the throttle constantly. I never get less than 15 min and usually more like 20. The G-26 is not a thirsty engine even when run at high power settings. Your 16oz is more than enough.

Hi,

Your G-26 burns about 1 oz/min at full throttle. If you never throttle back, you should get a 15 min flight before you run out.

Hope this helps

phew! Thats a good news to hear from you all...Thanks!

I'm quite good on my throttle management (from electric flying habit) so I think 16oz prolly will last me 2x8mins flight on my CMPro Katana. Though I won't take such risk, I will refuel prior each flight. Just bought my 1g Jerry can from ACE last night!

Thats work out like 38cents per flight in my currency or US$0.10, yesssaaaarr!!!

Currently my glow 91 2c is sucking up like US$1 per flight!!!!
