Default Engine mounting options

I have a Carden Extra 300 which I bought used/repaired that has a bit of glass on it, so it is a bit overweight. My G-62 gets it around the pea patch, but clearly it needs more power. I prefer an engine that mounts like the G-62, flat to the firewall. I looked at 3W 75 etc., but they require a hole in the firewall for carb. I was thinking about Fuji, but the 86 is too long for the cowl: 7+" where I need only 5.25, so I will likely get a single cylinder engine, but which one? How does the ZDZ 80 mount? Or is there another option I should explore?

Phil, call up Bobby at Cactus Aviation right there in Tuscon AZ. 3w does make a 3w 75. They have the rear carb like you mention, but they also make a side carb so you will not have to drill any holes in the firewall. Hope this helps.
