Hello Bill
I have a Fuji-64EIS that has not been run as yet, and 250cc of Fuji oil.
I would like to run-in the engine using the Fuji oil at the recommended ratio's and then use the remainder of the Fuji oil for normal use (100:1).
I would like to switch to ordinary 2 Stroke oil at this stage. What is recommended, a mineral oil or a synthetic type????
If later on I switch back to Fuji oil will a second break-in be required as recommended if Ord 2/stroke oil is used then switching to Fuji oil.
Because of my Location (Australia) I understand that I am not covered by any warranty so I would not like to shorten this engines life due to lack of knowledge. This is my first Gas engine.
Thanks and Cheers Geoff

the oil mix ratio is determined by the type of oil. As long as you use the recommended mix ratio, you'll have no difficulties. Swtiching between types of oils is a problem only in that some people don't keep the mix ratio correct for the oil. That's all. Use what you have available, as long as it's an oil suitable to use in two-stroke engines.
