BME 50 Or DA 50
Out of curiosity what is the difference between this engines. ( BME 50 Or DA 50 )
On Power and reliability by looking at the specs they almost weigh the same @ 4.43lbs ready to go

I have both of them, and the DA is prettier. That's about it as far as it goes. Both engines perform well, and have similar power. Both have good throttle response, assuming your needles are set properly.

The new BME 55 should be out with in the next month or so. It will come in over a pound lighter than the BME 50 and DA 50, I believe it is 2.1 lbs w/o ignition or muffler.
Just some food for thought.
Most of all the good 50cc class engines run very well if set up properly, pretty much flip a coin if you can't decide.
