I'll take a few Ralph . My wife hates it when you do this but said to say hello anyway.

Hope to see you at Castle. Would love to have you join a bunch of us for dinner one of the evenings.

Spacewalker..Of course it came from CHINA, like almost everything else these days...
The cylinder appears to be the same as the SPE26, but the case is definitely different...
It's supplied with a rotary barrel carb..That will be changed...The hub is made in the USA from 2024 aluminum, and will not strip easily..If the crank bearings are not good enough they will be changed..There will be NO bell cranks to operate the carbs, the throttle will connect directly to the throttle servo..The crankcase is flat across the back, no mounting plate needed,no spindly legs to break...If testing reveals any other flaws they will be corrected or the engines will not be sold....PERIOD...
They will each be run before shipment, the customer should not be expected to be the tester, there will be no release until everything is RIGHT...
There will be a warranty, engines will be repaired in the USA, all parts will be available......
All this will not happen if the engines turn out to be of poor quality after HARD testing...

Ralph,
Do you have any guess as to what time frame you are looking at as far as the engines hitting the market is concerned. Understand about the testing and modifying and all the rest, just wondering about when you project it hitting the streets. I definately want one and at the price quoted would be well worth the money untested, "as is".
Regards,
doubledee

I would like to have a before and after version, it's nice to know what the inside of an engine looks like, along with its origins

I guess that fares paid round trip to factory has not arrived yet! When you go take lots of pictures for posting with your report.

Specific purpose experience should be useful for anyone modifying a product for that purpose.

Hi Ralph

For that price and with your excellent reputation and QC/Parts improvement, I will take one even if I'm 10000miles away. Do let us know soonest when this engine is available. I'm thinking of deposing all my glow stuff. Yeah!

I have not disposed of all my glow yet, but I haven't flown one in over a year either.

I think it's time.

RTK... it's time for the glow to go

I'll have my WH Sukhoi at Castle with one of Ralph's G62's in it. Maybe we can display it by your table Ralph.

You ain't seen a G62, until you run one of Ralph's G62 LITE engines.barely 4 lb with engine mount. ignition. Truly a work of art. It's really a thing of beauty.
