I have an Evolution 58 and the spark plug has never come loose however the spark plug cap did come off recently, I just used a little lock-tite on the set screw and so far has not come off again.

My prop is perfectly balanced and so is my spinner what do think about the metal ring that is part of the block coming off and messing up the threads on spark plug . I have had this happen twice the first time the waranty people said that i cross threadded the plug and i did not but i still had it fixed and i had them install the plug for me this time. I have burned less than a gallon of fuel and the same thing happend so obviously i did not cross thread it . I think maybe there is a problem with the design

I ground down a standard size spark plug wrench to fit inside the ring and tightened mine that way.....it probably would come loose using the supplied wrench.

What could be the problem? I have seen this engine myself, looks like a flawed design to me. Meier10 has not removed the factory installed plug, now it is the same problem on another new engine. I could understand it if it had a lot of time on it.

Mister Meyer is not using enough torque. That is not a design flaw, that is mister Meyer not using enough torque.
According to instructions on the Brisk UR17 wrap, the plug needs to be torqued 1/16th of a revolution if the plug boot were not there. The plug boot being an extra part will increase that value slightly, so the plug should be tightened slightly more than 1/16th turn after it seats.

wouldnt you think that the wrench that comes with the motor would work to titen the plug or the motor should be designed to fit a standard size plug wrech since aparently it is needed[X(]

I've never had a spark plug back out but I am very careful when tightening. I want the plug in tight but I don't put too much torque for fear of wringing it off. It's really strange so many people have had this same problem.
Larry
PS I don't own an MVVS so my experience is not with that engine.

Most of the spark plugs that dont use a crush ring need to be tightened securely, ZDZs do the same, why would you assume that the motor is RTF, always assume the opposite and check it all before you fly, seems like cheap insurance

I can tell anyone, first hand that ZDZ engines need proper tightening of the spark plug. After purchasing a new in box ZDZ 80 and a new ZDZ 80, I tried to tighten the plug with the supplied wrench and it SEEMED tight (both came with the spark plug installed). Then, after a few flights the plug came out in flight on the new engine! I know it was my fault for not checking the plug tightness but, after using the proper tool it has never happened again. The two MVVS engines that I own did not come with the plug installed so, I used a larger wrench to tighten them, as a result of the ZDZ experience, to a nice snug fit before even the first run. I have not had ANY problems with the two MVVS 160's that I run, after two gallons thru each.
BTW I agree with andyt, completely, .....Now.
