Great news for Quadra fans [8D]
I just received a phone call from Klaus Nowak..
He has a new partner and will be making a comeback with some new and upgraded engines..
Klaus was one of the very first to make engines available when quarter scale was started, and through the years almost everyone who flew quarter scale had a Quadra engine..
Many are 20 years old and still running strong..
The fastest prop driven airplane I ever saw uses a modified Aerrow 200 twin..It flew last week in our USRA giant scale races in Illinois..A 31 lb NA50, it was radar clocked at 245 mph at the end of the 1600 foot straightaway on the race course...It won the race
