Hey Guys!!! I recently bought the hangar 9 extra 260, Im planning on buying a DA50R for it. I think im going for the MTW 75 canister header exhaust system. Will the 75 or the 75K fit best( the difference on the canister is the diameter from 2.125"/ 2.5". what servos did U use, how many battery packs and specially with the elevetor servos did U use a Y or a Matchbox?????? Ill appreciate all ur advice

Do you really need noise abatement devices where you fly. If not save the money and lose the weight of the cannisters.
One battery each for igniton and receiver works just fine. 1,000mAh battery, 2,200mAh rx. That's presuming a Lithion Ion. You can go with a 1,650 nimh on rx but have to charge during the course of a day with more than 3 flights or so. Using a nicad, you can go with 800mAh for the ignition. It comes down to what you want to spend. I prefer the lithions.
Don't use a Wye, match through the tx or an accessory device, Matchbox, Equalizer, etc.
Since price will likely be an object, Hitec 5925 or 5945 would work just fine.

I'm using JR 8411's on all flight surfaces.
Seperate channel for each servo no "Y" harnesses.
If you're going to put the DA on there you don't need the additional weight, cost, or power of the cannisters, the stock exhaust is WAY more than enough for this little plane. I hardly ever get over half throttle with mine, and it hovers way below that.
One reciever is fine for a plane this size, I'm only using one RX pack, and it's 2800 NiMh, and a 2000 NiMh on the ign.
