I think I already know the answer to this, but I just have to ask: is it possible to take a Carbon Fiber prop that has been drilled for another engine, fill in the holes, and re-drill it for my engine? Would be nice to buy a used prop but of course not worth it if that's a bad idea.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer. My shields are up...

I asked Brian of DA that same question a while back. He said "Yes", it would be okay to do that. What I did was drill a 150 prop with the 100 bolt hole pattern. I showed him the prop and that's what he suggested.

We really didn't get into with "what", but I used 45 minute epoxy mixed with some milled fiberglass. I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do. I would at least fill in the existing holes and see if it's possible to drill new holes evenly around the epoxied sections into the cf prop itself.

Thx for the info. I'm thinking of getting a used prop drilled out for a 3w, and filling the holes. Then I'd drill it out for my ZDZ. I have no idea if the bolt pattern is close or not.

what size prop is it ? which motor? if its up to a 100cc engine, the prop pattern is same on 3w and zdz, only the zdz uses 4mm prop bolts instead of 5mm like the 3w, and you can use the same holes even though they are 5mm and the zdz prop bolts are 4mm no prob.

Thanks.
Actually I got it wrong----the used prop is drilled for a BME 100 and I have a ZDZ Super 80. I know the Super 80 doesn't share the same bolt pattern with the older version 80.
