Does anyone know where I can purchase a set of 1 3/4" standoffs to use with a 3W-24. Trying a conversion and must move the engine out from the firewall. Thanks Stuka Jon

There are several hobby shops for the aluminum ones, Don's for one in Kansas. Also Cactus Aviation. You could make your own from hardwood dowels too. I used a 1 inch dowel on an Echo 44cc conversion for my son's plane and there are no issues. Matter of fact my Carden kits all came with 1 inch dowels for stand offs.

Thick walled tube also is an option, with long through bolts.
Cut to slightly oversized length, put in a pewer drill, and file the ends nice and square whilst trimming down to exact size.
Use large washers against wood to prevent wood crushing, and trimming engine thrust lines.

Hi Jon,
TBM carries them and you will have them the next business day since they're in Sarasota.
