Does any one have experience with this engine?
I'm interested in the power to weight ratio and how does it compare to other gassers in this range?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Electropiep

I would rate this motor at the top along side of the best..Great power to weight ratio..Long lasting, easy to use...I bought one new. flew it for a summer, traded the model and motor to a friend, who in turn sold it to another friend and it "still" runs strong and like new...If you get a good deal you can not go wrong..My 2 cents..Brian

I'm thinking of putting a Brison 2.4 in a H9 CAP 232 ARF. I would like to know if the carb would fit inside the cowl. Also, would I get good performance at about 15.5-16 pounds?

I can't comment on the cowl fit on the Cap but I can comment on the performance in the 15 pound range. I run a Brisson 2.4 in my MW Extra and love the performance. I run a 19x8 Mejzlik and have unlimited vertical. The engine is silky smooth, I have never tried a larger prop but do read I may be on the small side of prop spectrum for this engine. I would not expect spirited 3D performance but if scale is what your after you should really like the combo
