Default Converted G45 wiring question

I just received my G45 back from Ralph and am I afraid I have a stupid question to ask. There were no instructions returned with the engine so I am trying to sort out the wiring connector on the conversion. The plug in connector on the rear mount with the phono style plug connector has me fooled. The wire looks like a small coaxial type wire. How do I hook a battery pack to this through an ignition switch ? Any help here would be sincerely appreciated. Photos would even be better. Hopefully there are some folks out there who have had engines converted by Ralph and can help me here.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Connect a 4.8 volt battery with the positive in the center.. Thru a switch or how ever you want to do it.. I ran mine on a 900 nimh battery and could get two hours flying time.. Brian

Its not coax, its a shielded wire.
As Brian says hook the + to the center wire and the - to the shield.

Thanks guys - OK so it is shielded wire. I don't quite follow how to make the actual connections, especially to the shielded portion on the outside. What is the best way to do the connections, it sure is not obvious to me. Sorry for asking for more details.

What do you see when you look at the end? Are there two insulated wires inside a shield? are they color coded? Post a picture or description.

This shows 2 possible types of wire? Which looks familar? http://www.dplay.com/dv/balance/balance.html

Why not just PM Ralph and ask the 'horse's mouth'?

Thanks - actually I just did PM Ralph and trust that he will get back to me. The wire reminds me of miniature coaxial cable with a center wire with plastic shield around it, with multiple single copper wire strands wrapped around the center plastic that contains the centre stranded wire. Seems to me that I will just peel back the outer insulation, group the outer wire strands together and solder the negative wire to this, then solder the positive wire to the center wire. I cannot see any other way but this should work.
